Wunder Studios offers expert instruction in music, theatre, and performance skills. The class sizes are limited so that every student receives personal attention. All classes are taught by working professional performers with an emphasis on empowering students to succeed. Our classes are designed to build their skills and confidence. The curriculum for each session in new, so students may take the same class again and again.
Most of our classes are open to a diverse mix of students in terms of age and experience level. We have found that the richness of the diversity breaks down social barriers, fosters a non-competitive learning environment, and contributes substantially to the overall success of the class. Our class sizes are small enough that every student, old or young, beginning or advanced, receives plenty of personal attention and educational challenges appropriate for their skill set.
Learn, grow, be in a show!
Our musical theater workshop program encourages the artistic expression and development of students, ages 5 to 18, by teaching them the art of performing. Exercises in voice, acting and movement are taught in small classes of 5 to 10 students ensuring that each individual receives personal attention. As students develop, they can progress from beginning to advanced classes, learning how to perform in large and small ensembles, play roles, and sing. Classes meet for an hour each week and no audition is required. At the conclusion of each quarter, students perform in a recital for friends and family at Wunder Studios.
Each quarter Wunder Studios presents a fully staged musical with live accompaniment at the historic Pickwick Theatre. All musical theater workshop students are automatically placed in the chorus of the show.
